Release 3.3
We’re excited to introduce ExMeX Core Framework 3.3, a release focused on enhancing performance, and improving overall system transparency.
Highlights include major enhancements to the Archiving Framework, such as schema validation, ordered execution of archiving objects, and support for multiple timestamp formats. Additionally, object mapping now exports replica target details, and various usability and stability improvements have been made across the framework.
Upgrading to version 3.3 is straightforward, following the principles of Semantic Versioning. With our commitment to backward compatibility in minor releases, you can confidently upgrade without fear of breaking existing functionality.
Enhanced Archiving Framework
Efficient data archiving is crucial for optimizing system performance and managing storage costs. In ExMeX 3.3, the Archiving Framework has been improved to support streamlined archiving and deletion of outdated data, based on customizable object and retention policies.
This update introduces several enhancements, including:
- Validation of target schema existence
- Updated column codes for archiving modules
- Ordered execution of archiving objects
- Support for various timestamp formats as archiving columns

PowerDesigner - ExMeX Plugin (Metadata Export)
Version 1.10.0 of the PowerDesigner ExMeX plugin introduces several notable improvements:
- New Feature: Export Replica Mapping Information (Ticket 0000654)
- Improvements: Code structure enhancements for better performance and maintainability
- Added Support: UTF encoding compatibility
These updates simplify the metadata export process, making it easier to integrate and use within your existing workflows.
